Columbine are not as prevalent this year under the pine tree. I didn’t get the pine needles cleaned up and they may have had a hard time growing up and through.
Shasta daisies are just getting started. I irrigate mine, but in some dry land areas they grow just fine.
Gorgeous red peonies bloom, although they didn’t receive much extra irrigation.
The iris are finally blooming — about a month late, but they sure look great with the Oriental poppies.
Hey Liz,
I wanted to say hi and let you know that there is a group on facebook that I’ve been posting some of your pictures to- whenever I type certain words into google, your blog comes up often. You are a great resource for the memories of Scott Valley. I’ve requested to be your friend on FB- and then I’ll add ya to the group! Lots of love,
